Romance Hongrés is based on Sergei Rachmaninoff's two Morceaux de Salon, Op.6, the composer's only known works for this instrumentation. Through Romance, Rachmaninoff emphasized the connection to the lyrical and the romantic style, while with Dance Hongroise he sought to highlight a more energetic and brilliant aspect. In this work, also divided into two movements, these influences are sought, where the timbral exploration of the instruments is also taken to the extreme.

What is space?
otherwise the interval
where
the thought slips
imagining images?
The ritual screen of invention
hides the space in between
the interstice
where perception is refracted
By the images
we enter into dialogue
with the unspeakable

Universus is based on a physics theory about parallel universes. The title reveals the opposition of two elements (“versus”) and at the same time implies the word Universe (“unus”). The expression literally means “transformed into one”. This theory states that, while there is a reality, other parallel realities derive from it which, without ever crossing paths, absorb elements in common with the main reality, but also have other elements that are introduced or transformed. Here, reality is always presented by the oboe and the English horn is its parallel reality. Thus, the piece was written in sections, always starting with the oboe, and the English horn appeared as a result of the first. The lighting design gives the audience a musical vision of the work, as well as the entire theatrical part that unfolds simultaneously with the music.

This work is written in three parts and portrays an impossible love between a man and a woman. The "Passion" grew but did not bear any fruit. The "Revolt" arose, as the woman's evident denial led to the "Loneliness" of the Miserable Man.

Music and text based on the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe .
A long, long time ago, there was
In a kingdom by the sea,
A maiden I knew
Annabel Lee is called;
Maiden in whom no other thought was seen
Than to be loved and love a lot.
I was a child and she was a child too,
In a kingdom by the sea,
We love each other with immense love,
Annabel Lee and I, so much in love
With a love that the winged Seraphim
There in Heaven they dared to envy.
And this was the reason why, a long time ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
From a cloud a wind blows
And the beautiful Annabel Lee freezes.
Then his noble relatives came
Stop pushing her away from me,
To close her in a tomb
In the kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not very happy in Heaven,
They began to envy: -
Yes! - that's the reason (everyone knows,
In the kingdom by the sea)
Of a wind blowing in the cloudy night,
And my Annabel Lee freezes.
But our love was stronger than love
Of those older ones
Of those wisest -
And not even the angels up in Heaven
Not even the demons in the sea,
They really can't, my soul
From the beautiful Annabel Lee away.
For the moon never shines without bringing me dreams
From the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And no star appears, but I can feel the gaze
From the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, into the night, I lie down beside
From my dear - my life and my bride,
In the tomb by the sea -
In his tomb by the bubbling sea.

This song was based on a traditional Turkish melody Hey onbeşli onbeşli ("Hey, boys of the '15") about the boys born in 1315 in the Ottoman calendar (corresponding to the year 1900 in the Gregorian calendar) who accepted to fight in the Battle of Gallipoli at the request of their commander, with no boy surviving the battle.

This work seeks to represent the final silence, where the soul separates from the body and where everything fades away. The lightness and enigmatic character of the work arise from an atonal atmosphere that is sometimes mixed with tonal harmonies.

The restless and unbalanced contours of the melodic lines, the harmonic constructions in constant conflict, and the uncertainty created by the spaces for improvisation; the notes in extreme registers, the exaggeratedly intricate contrapuntal movements, and the control and release of time; the abrupt timbral distortions and the momentary synchronisation of the instrumental groups, constructing false impressions of tranquillity. Together, these elements intertwine to form a powerful sonic discourse, charged with tension and shaped by constant confrontation.
