Crystalline is developed around the concept of the construction of crystalline structures, responsible for creating simple snowflakes, crystals (such as diamonds) or precious stones. Although they are all elements of great aesthetic beauty, they undergo chemical processes that require a transfer of energy in small or large quantities, whether through pressure or temperature. This pressure is given to the orchestra, whether through the orchestration itself, harmonic structures or instrumental techniques, supported by the diffuse texture of the piano and harp. In contrast, the two solo violins trace defined, clear and vibrant melodic lines, which are gradually interrupted by the orchestra, thus counterpointing the duality of strength and density with the simplicity of the melodies. The entire work develops towards the greatest point of tension and towards obtaining this crystalline structure.
